What I'm building toward
I think the most interesting software right now is the kind that holds context and participates in thought- not just executes workflows. That's what I try to build. I do the engineering, the product thinking, and the creative direction - mostly because nobody told me to stop.
I learn by building something, watching it break or succeed for reasons I didn't expect, and adjusting. That loop is the part I like most.
The earlier internet
Adjacent to software, I spent years in photography and web design - the earlier internet, when everything was a little more handmade. That still shows up. I live for the moment something goes from 'it works' to 'it delights.'
